During this session, we’ll cover best practices on how to effectively communicate with your co-workers, employees, prospects, and customers. We’ll discuss how to best manage expectations during a call or virtual meeting using an “Up-Front Contract”, or agreement about what is going to take place during the conversation. We’ll also talk about the challenge of how to connect with people when you no longer have the benefit of reading body language, and how to be aware of other ways you may unintentionally communicate the wrong message. Finally, we’ll spend some time discussing how to stay positive by separating your Identity from your Role, and how understanding I/R Theory may help you and your team manage through uncertain times, and emerge from this stronger.
